Dementia Carers Group

Havering Dementia Carers Support Group

We recognise that caring for a loved one with Dementia can be isolating and stressful.

The Carers in the group can access help and information from the organisers and visiting speakers, whilst their loved ones are cared for in another room with experienced and dedicated volunteers.

Getting together as Carers gives the opportunity to talk openly and honestly about their situations, in a non judgemental environment, whilst enjoying a good laugh.

Havering Dementia Support Group Meet on:

Monday Mornings 10:30am - 12:00pm

 Thursdays afternoons 1:30pm - 3:00pm.

Uganda

Uganda

Supporters of the mission to Uganda have been taking up a regular collection for Nnajjanankumbi Miracle Centre Church in Uganda.  The church there and their community were grateful for the recent donations and used the money,  to buy supplies, to make food parcels for families that are adversely affected by the lockdown and the current financial downturn.  To date the donations have enabled Nnajjanankumbi Miracle Centre Church to support over 300 families in need.

We also sponsor 27 Ugandan children monthly to go to school, paying for their uniforms, books and food.

If you would like to make a donation or would like any more information, please contact us by emailing:

Youth&Community

We desire that the love of God is expressed practically by the church into our community.  We have a full time Youth and Community worker who spearheads our work with young people and our outreach to the local community.

Youth Work

We are passionate about bringing the hope and life that Jesus gives us, to all young people.  Our youth worker supports Christian Unions in local secondary schools share the good news of Jesus, as well as providing individual mentoring in schools and pupil referral units.  Our youth worker also works together with a strong network of local youth workers to host events and provide safe environments for young people to meet.

 Community

We host and take part in various community events (for our upcoming events please visit at our What’s On page or our Facebook page). We engage with our community by giving Free Hugs and encouraging words on the streets of Havering (prior to COVID).
